The call to create a Dracula trail around the North-east coast – including Gardenstown – is intensifying! Great to see support for the idea from VisitScotland too.
Amid all the excitement about the recent television adaptation of Dracula, Derek was invited on BBC Radio presenter’s Roberto Peronne’s show to talk about the Count’s creator Bram Stoker and his connection with The Garden Arms. Listen to the interview (starts at 1:12).
We’ve applied to Historic Environment Scotland for a heritage plaque to mark Dracula author Bram Stoker’s stay at The Gardens Arms. We’re even hoping a Dracula trail might be set up in the North-east of Scotland. The story was covered by the Sunday Post and other media.
